What is it?
PEMF stands for pulsed electromagnetic field therapy. It delivers pulses of electromagnetic energy through the skin into the tissues below. PEMF is commonly used in rehabilitation settings to support recovery and to help manage pain and inflammation.
Electrons Plus is a guided PEMF system. Rather than lying on a mat that delivers a general field to the whole body, your practitioner holds and directs the applicator over the specific muscles, tendons or joints involved, adjusting the intensity and focus as they go.
The treatment is non-invasive, involves no needles or medication, and has no downtime, so you can return to work or training straight afterwards.
Who it can help
Guided PEMF is commonly used as part of a physiotherapy plan for:
- Muscle and joint pain
- Tendon pain such as tennis elbow
- Knee and shoulder pain
- Sports injuries and training recovery
- Recovery after surgery, once cleared by your surgeon
What happens in a session
After a hands-on assessment, you sit or lie comfortably, fully clothed. Your practitioner guides the Electrons Plus applicator over the target area. Most people feel a light tapping or pulsing sensation, and some feel nothing at all.
PEMF is usually combined with manual therapy or exercise in the same visit, so it supports the rest of your plan rather than replacing it.
How many sessions you may need
PEMF is typically delivered as a short course, for example once or twice a week over several weeks, and reviewed against your progress. Your practitioner will recommend a frequency after your assessment.
Who delivers it
Every session at Limitless 7 Clinic is delivered in our Umm Suqeim clinic by DHA-licensed physiotherapists and clinicians. The same practitioner who assesses you plans and reviews your treatment, so your care stays consistent from the first visit to discharge.

Is there any downtime?
